AzabuSystem Inc. (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as 'this Policy') regarding the handling of personal information of users and applicants (hereinafter referred to as 'Customers') in the nail salon platform service and partner recruitment (hereinafter referred to as 'the Service') provided by the Company.

Article 1 — Definition of Personal Information

"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined by Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, meaning information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual through name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained therein, as well as data relating to physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from the information alone, such as health insurance card numbers (personal identification codes).

Article 2 — Personal Information Collected

The Company may collect and obtain the following information.

  3. Image data from identity verification documents (driver's license, passport, etc.)

  5. Nail treatment portfolio photos, portfolios, resumes

Article 3 — Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company uses personal information for the following purposes.

  1. Screening and recruitment of Partners (nailists)
  2. Service registration, identity verification, and authentication setup
  3. Provision, maintenance, protection, and improvement of the Service
  4. Calculation of usage fees, compensation, and payment processing (including Stripe Connect)
  5. Use of Partner portfolios and achievements as marketing materials on the Company's websites, social media, and advertising platforms
  6. Monitoring, prevention, and response to fraudulent activities
  7. Purposes incidental to the above

Article 4 — Disclosure to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the Customer, except in the following cases and as permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.

  1. When providing information to payment service providers (such as Stripe, Inc.) for payment processing and sales management
  2. When necessary for the protection of life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
  3. When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
  4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government body in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations

Article 5 — Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to external parties (cloud server providers, screening agents, etc.) to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such cases, the Company will conduct rigorous investigations of such outsourcing parties and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the safe management of the entrusted personal information.

Article 6 — Security Measures

The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, including the use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted communications and access control management.

Article 7 — Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Data

Customers may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information held by the Company. Upon receipt of such request, the Company will respond without delay after verifying the identity of the requester, in accordance with applicable laws.

This website uses analytics tools such as Google Analytics and advertising services that may use cookies. While cookies identify browsers, they do not identify specific individuals. You may disable cookies through your browser settings.
